When you grow as much basil as we do, it’s essential to have a pesto recipe that’s quick, flavorful, and easy to scale. This one is our go-to—simple, nut-free, and perfect for making the most of garden-fresh basil—and yields three cups of pesto.

Ingredients

  • 20 cloves of garlic

  • 2 cups extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/8 cup lemon juice

  • 4-5 cups basil leaves

  • 1 cup shaved Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
